Before placing an order, we encourage every customer to carefully review our product descriptions, photography, videos, sizing guidance and styling inspiration. Our goal is to provide all the information needed to help you make a confident purchasing decision before checkout.
Every unnecessary return creates additional transportation, packaging waste and emissions. By making thoughtful purchasing decisions together, we contribute to a more responsible fashion industry.
Every purchase should be made with confidence, and every returned product should be suitable to become another customer's first experience with LAYR & LAYR.
When a return is genuinely necessary, we are committed to making the process fair, transparent and straightforward.
1. Our Quality Promise
Every LAYR & LAYR product is individually inspected before leaving our fulfilment centre. Every returned product is inspected against the same quality standards before a refund can be approved. Our return policy is designed to protect the quality of every product while ensuring every customer receives the premium experience they expect from LAYR & LAYR.
2. Return Eligibility
We offer a 14-day worldwide commercial return policy. If you wish to return your order, your return request must be submitted within 14 days of delivery. To be eligible for a refund, your returned product must meet our Complete Resale Condition and comply with the requirements outlined in this policy. Every returned item is individually inspected before a refund decision is made.
3. Complete Resale Condition
To qualify for a refund, every returned product must remain in its original, complete and resalable condition. The returned product must be:
- Unworn
- Unwashed
- Free from stains, marks or damage
- Free from perfume, smoke or deodorant odours
- Free from makeup or cosmetic residue
- Free from signs of prolonged wear
- Free from damage to the collar, buttons, stitching or adjustable side straps
- Returned in its original shape and structure
- Returned with all original components
To help preserve the complete LAYR & LAYR experience, the original presentation should also be returned wherever reasonably possible, including:
- Original product box
- Original wrapping paper
- Original inserts
- Protective materials
- Thank You Card
- Original hangtag where applicable under mandatory local consumer law
Products that no longer meet our Complete Resale Condition may be subject to a reduction in refund or may not qualify for a refund where permitted by applicable law.
4. Product Inspection
Every returned item is carefully inspected against our Complete Resale Condition. Where permitted by applicable law, returns may be declined or subject to a reduction in refund if the returned product:
- Shows signs of wear
- Has been washed or altered
- Is damaged
- Contains stains or odours
- Is incomplete
- Is no longer in resalable condition
- Has been used beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect the product
Our goal is to ensure every customer receives a product in the same premium condition as it left our fulfilment centre.
5. Return Shipping
Unless your return is the result of our error or a manufacturing defect, customers are responsible for return shipping costs.
We recommend using a tracked shipping service, as LAYR & LAYR cannot accept responsibility for returns lost in transit before arriving at our warehouse.
Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless required by applicable law.
6. Damaged, Incorrect or Defective Items
If your order arrives damaged, incorrect or contains a manufacturing defect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery. Please include:
- Your order number
- Clear photographs of the product
- Photographs of the packaging where relevant
- A brief description of the issue
Where applicable, we will provide an appropriate repair, replacement or refund in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws.
7. Exchanges
We currently do not offer direct exchanges.
If you would like a different colour or product, we recommend placing a new order after your return has been approved.
8. Refund Process
Once your returned item has been received and inspected, you will receive an email confirming whether your refund has been approved.
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method.
Please allow approximately 5–10 business days for your payment provider to complete the transaction.
9. International Orders
LAYR & LAYR proudly ships worldwide.
Return procedures may vary depending on your location.
Customers are responsible for complying with any applicable customs requirements when returning products internationally.
Any duties, taxes or customs charges paid during the original shipment are generally non-refundable unless required by applicable law
10. Fair Use Policy
Our return policy is designed to support customers who make genuine purchasing decisions while protecting the quality of every LAYR & LAYR product.
Where legally permitted, we reserve the right to refuse returns, limit future purchases or take appropriate action in cases of excessive return behaviour, repeated abuse of this policy, fraudulent claims or attempts to return products that no longer meet our Complete Resale Condition.
These measures help us maintain our quality standards, reduce unnecessary waste and ensure every customer receives the premium experience they expect.
11. Consumer Rights
LAYR & LAYR offers a 14-day worldwide commercial return policy.
Customers located in countries or regions where mandatory consumer protection laws provide additional rights will continue to benefit from those rights.
Nothing in this Return & Refund Policy limits or excludes any mandatory rights available underapplicable law.
